What? Wait ? WOAH!

This morning I woke up in a really bad mood. 

My baby is still sick and insisted on sleeping on my chest all night long running 101-102 degree fevers all night long. I have not had more than 2 hours worth of sleep a night in the past 11 days, and after yesterdays traumatic events [see friday flip offs] I was at my wits end. 

Than I got an email... Two emails actually. Two very WONDERFUL emails. 

The first was from Jess @ Craftiness is NOT Optional, where they recently had a CSN stores gift card giveaway. And guess who won? Yep! I did! Well really R.bug did because he is going to be the benefactor! 

When I got this email I kinda looked like this....

The second was from Laura @ Say it On The Wall where I am receiving a $10 gift card to their store!

This one is going to my mommy for her birthday which is coming up on the 3rd.

[She already knows. I couldn't wait to tell her!]

Friday Flip Offs #2

Today is a good day for a flip off fest because BOY DO I HAVE A FEW! 

First off this is for my son....

To the idiots at the doctors office....What the hell is up with the x-ray torture device? Really haven't we moved up in times where we have this invention called a table to lay on? Not only did my precious angel have to scream for blood withdrawl, and being cath'd to get urine but when I promised him (not that he understood at 5 months old) that the torture was over and he could just lay on a table you brought out ... THIS!

And.... We have a NURSERY!

A nursery? What?! NO WAY! 

YYEESSS WAY!!

Yep I am pretty much jumping up and down excited to say that I am converting the guest bedroom next to my bedroom into a nursery. 

[Finally.]

So I decided to let you guys in on the revamp! 

So from the beginning half way through moving furniture out.

Now please keep in mind this is not finished by any means! I still have LOTS of decorating to do !!!! :P 

The art on the walls is coming down. I plan on doing "clothesline" art across the wall where his bed is. 

I cannot wait!

Cars? YES PLEASE! 

As a single mommy to a little boy I figured that cars are gonna have to be one of those topics I need to "brush up on". 

Not very easy considering I really know nothing about cars to brush up on other than ...

-you have to change the oil

-tires don't last forever

-they go fast

-sometimes they get your from point A to point B

-boys like them [some girls too]

-they come in different models and years

-and I know nothing about them!

So in celebration of me TRYING to learn boy stuff.
